‘Fear’ took over from ‘Unbelief’ and brought Christian’s mind under guilt and condemnation.
Christian! What are you thanking God for? Are you thanking God for your disobedience by calling the name of the Son of God in vain? You see, you are worse than an infidel. How could you claim to be a child of God and at the same time deliberately breaking God’s commandment
Oh no! Not this condemnation again
I called the name of the Lord because that’s the only name that can deliver me from all kinds of oppression.
You fool! If you’re truly a child of God, why were you oppressed in your sleep? Haven’t you read that ‘…oppression shall not take place the second time’.
Tell me if you are truly saved, why were you pressed against your bed? Or didn’t you read that ‘…he giveth his beloved sleep’
Oh Lord! It is true I’m not supposed to be oppressed. Please help my unbelief.
